Bb Soft Skin founder, Alicia Pullen spent her childhood mixing DIY skincare out of anything she could find in the kitchen and plant-rich forest of the PNW. Eventually, after years spent pouring over ingredient lists and sketching up fantasy product lines, a friend suggested that she pursue an esthetician license. When she enrolled at the Aveda Institute her goal was to gain deeper knowledge of skincare science and chemistry, but she soon discovered an equal passion for restorative touch. As a facialist, her inspiration is the adaptive healing we witness in nature - and the intuitive aspects of scientific process. Having seen how internal and external factors effect skin health she also began to seek out solutions to prevent damage and encourage regeneration in ways that don’t harm the body or come with a host of side effects. Throughout the years working with skincare products she began to notice a gap in the market. Many clean beauty brands fail to elevate formulations as science evolves - while medical grade and prescripton products neglect the tried and true magic of plant healing. Having developed a deep curiousity for ingredient synergy she discovered that the most efficacious balance lies in the combination of active ingredients in formulas that nourish and replenish the skin.
